I'm Carissa, and Carissa's Collection is where my magpie instincts became a business. It's my Pacific Northwest shop for vintage jewelry, storied textiles, and curiosities — beautiful old things, honestly described. I hunt down vintage and antique pieces, from everyday wear to the strange and spectacular, and every piece is researched, tested when it matters, and sold with its story, lovingly restored when appropriate. Carissa also founded Uranium Fever, a Facebook group for glowing and mineral collectors.
How I work
I research every piece, test materials when it matters, and report condition honestly. A piece is lovingly restored when appropriate, and cleaned only when cleaning is safe for it. Artifacts and fragile vintage are left as found. When I do not know something, I say so. Each listing is a dossier, not a sales pitch. I am as interested in the mystery as the merchandise — if you buy from me, you get the full story along with the object. That is the whole point.
